I used to play Motocross Madness (1998) & Motocross Madness 2 (2000) and made a bunch of race tracks!<\/p>\n

I can’t remember them all, but I’ll update this page if I remember them…<\/p>\n

Some of the tracks I remember were – Danger City SE (Special Edition), Danger Island & Danger Island 2<\/p>\n

They were tricky tracks back in the day with the joysticks we used – like the MS Sidewinder 3D PRO.<\/p>\n

Today – I can rarely pull off a clean lap with a the little gamepad diddle sticks…<\/p>\n

Danger City had a “stadium” and high rise “City” buildings “painted” into the displacement map with windows on them and the stadium had fake people painted and a shark pool to jump over. We didn’t have background objects or know how to change sky cubes at that time and those background “buildings” killed the frame rate, so I made a ZONE copy w\/ out the fake buildings (or stutter).<\/p>\n

The track makes you jump out of the stadium, do a U-turn & then jump over the whole stadium to the opposite side for another U-turn & then jump back into the stadium where you had to jump a shark pool & fire pit.<\/p>\n
